4th Grade Students Meet with the Bennington Conservation Commission
Two 4th graders from Pierce School met with the Bennington Conservation Commission on Thursday, 11/21/24, along with their classroom teacher, Mrs. Germain. They made a request for support in purchasing a trail camera to observe mammals in the Bruce Edes Forest. Students shared that they would collect data and report back to the BCC in May with their findings. The BCC took a vote, and approved! Trail cameras are anticipated to be purchased in time for the student mammal project. Students are seeking additional opportunities in the community and within nature.
