Picture book author, David Rottenberg, visited Pierce School on Thursday. The dancers from the Peterborough Dance Theatre performed as Mr. Rottenberg read the inspiring story of Gwendolyn the Graceful Pig; a tale of two best friends with big dreams. Gwendolyn’s hearts desire is to dance and Omar yearns to play football. The only thing standing in their way is that they are both pigs. With the aid of Natasha Leverton, “world’s greatest teacher in ze vorld” both make their dreams come true. Definitely an exciting and fun performance for the children to hear and see.
